I’ve always been guarded of my personal life; the only documentary I’ve ever made has been one that focused on my songwriting. Disney approached me to make a four-part documentary on the making of my next album Subtract. Initially the documentary was just that, a documentary on ​

When I was thinking of concepts for the Eyes Closed music video I wanted to make a video inspired by movies like Harvey, where the main character has an imaginary friend who’s a giant rabbit that no one can see. There’s also a book I read my daughters where sadness is encapsula ​

I’m doing a very special show at Eventim Apollo on 27th March. Will be playing the new album the entire way through with Aaron Dessner & full band x
